Description

The Systems Analyst Web position is primarily accountable for the development and management of web-based systems, including internal and external facing solutions. This accountability includes in depth analysis and technical design related to the service delivery platforms.  A secondary accountability is the design and management of identity systems for internal and external users, as they relate to web systems.

Key Outcomes:
The Systems Analyst Web is responsible to ensure stable self-service Corporate web tools by supporting and delivering the planning, design, writing, modification, integration and testing of website related code.  This role collaborates with Marketing and Communications and other business owners to ensure the technology is available to maintain brand standards.  This includes ensuring system design that facilitates self-service, and coordinating production and delivery, including liaising with vendors for outsourced delivery and vendor-managed SAAS.

This position ensures secure, sustainable customer identity / web security management by designing Customer Identity Management that facilitates the delivery of data via a web portal from a variety of systems of record, and ensures code adheres to as well as performs and presents in accordance with W3C (industry) standards.  The role architects systems for web-based data delivery by designing and managing Customer Portals for the secure delivery of Customer information and develops APIs for data dissemination and integration.

This role also supports the brand strategy by ensuring Customer facing systems meet the company guidelines, including developing technical standards for new system interfaces and ensuring Customer/User experience goals are met.
