Reporting to the Manager, Grounds and Conversions, the Operator is responsible for the overall maintenance of REAL facilities which includes snow removal, road and lot sanding, floor care and soccer turf maintenance, street sweeping and labourer duties when required. The position also maintains all sidewalks, roadways and parking lots and performs emergency repairs to ensure the property is safe for guests, customers and employees. The Operator also delivers on customer needs by installing banners and signage, loading and unloading for events, and the set-up of events and conversions. Operators perform their work tasks both indoors and outdoors throughout the grounds and various facilities. The Operator uses the following types of equipment: Forklift, front end loader, dump truck, skid steer, scissor lift, street sweeper, and ride on sweeper/scrubber. The Operator Event Delivery applicants must meet the qualifications to fulfill the duties of a primary position such as Labourer as required.
Education and Experience:
Grade 12 is preferred.
Valid CPR & First Aid certification is an asset.
Experience in Operating a Forklift is an asset.
Must possess and maintain a Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Provincial drivers license.
Must have steel-toed boots/shoes.
