The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) is seeking an experienced occupational health and safety professional to join our Employee Health and Safety Branch until October 2021.
Reporting directly to the Director, Employee Health and Safety, the Safety Consultant is a leader who enables employees at all levels to create a safe work environment and drives organizational health and safety performance. As an organizational safety expert, the incumbent is responsible for updating and implementing the framework known as the SLGA Safety Management System that enables managers and employees to achieve health and safety performance objectives which results in a proactive corporate safety culture. To ensure corporate success, this position manages and analyzes corporate health and safety performance to ensure strategies, goals and objectives are achieved and recommends improvements to maintain and/or strengthen health and safety performance.
