Description

Applicants to have post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting. Some Experience as bookkeeper or accountant is preferred. Applicant should be able to communicate in English. This is a full time permanent position. The salary will be $23.10/hour, depending on experience and education. Following are some of the duties:

-Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
-Invoicing and follow up with customers.
-Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
-Response to customers billing inquiries.
-Calculate and prepare 'direct transfer" for payrolls and cheques for utility, tax and other bills
-Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents
-Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services
-Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
