Job Order Detail

Description

Overall maintenance and care of 18 hole golf course, including but not limited to:
1.  Irrigation, machinery and application of fungicides, fertilizers etc.
2.  Involvement in developing, improving and implementing procedures affecting the overall maintenance of the golf course.
3.  Involved in hiring of the employees of all maintenance staff and be direct supervisor to these employees through training and scheduling.
4.  Assist with budget, equipment leases, purchases and capital projects on the golf course.
5.  Work with the General Manager and attend golf course committee meetings

Qualifications include:
1.  3-5 years of experience as a golf superintendent or 1st assistant.
2.  Have strong leadership and management skills with the ability to work with budgets, train and supervise staff.
3.  Commitment to maintaining and growing the golf course.
4.  Valid pesticide and sprayer license.
5.  Extensive automated irrigation experience and repairs.
6.  Knowledge of the game of golf would be an asset.
