Temporary Maternity Leave position beginning Oct 28th, 2019 to December 2020 (Approx 14 months)

Experience preferred but not required  


PRODUCTION PLANNING ASSISTANT

Reports to:
This position reports to the Production Planner.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
-Global Shop Entry including creating new parts, creating new Bill of Materials and Creating Routers
-Global Shop Revisions and Part Maintenance including revising single parts and weldments and fixing redline revisions
-Creating workorders which include cut lists, shipping picklists, material picklists
-Close workorders and create workorders for Warranty Claims
-Plasma Table Nesting
-Inventory management which includes physical inventory adjustments, inventory transfers, and shop inventory counts
-Create Project Hour Road Maps
-Prepare project wrap up and summaries
-Support responsibilities for shipping, permitting, and purchasing
-Other duties as assigned

Competencies/Skills:
-Possess well developed oral and written communication skills
-Capable of scheduling, planning and executing multiple tasks under pressure
-Effective computer skills
-Knowledge of ERP System Global Shop is a bonus but not required
-Must be comfortable working with a Team of colleagues

Education/Experience:
-Experience in the Microsoft Office environment
-Experience in an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is very important
-Experience and understanding of manufacturing processes
