Verdient Foods, a major plant-based protein food ingredient company, is currently seeking a General Labourer to join their growing team in Saskatchewan.
The General Labourer will be responsible for plant clean-up, general grounds keeping, housekeeping and other duties as assigned by the Plant Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
    Provides mill clean-up, general housekeeping and other duties as assigned by the Production Team Leader.
    Helping machine operators by supplying or holding materials or tools and cleaning work areas and equipment
    Loading and unloading items from machines, conveyors and conveyances
    Removing products, machine attachments and waste material from machines
    Moving finished products, raw materials, tools or equipment between storage and work areas of plant and warehouse by hand or using hand trucks or powered-lift trucks
    Keep production ground clean and clear of debris
    Conduct continuous inspections of all key process points in the facility, to identify anything abnormal.
    Outdoor grounds/site maintenance including snow removal, lawn care, etc.
    Update process logbooks with activities and process adjustments made, noting any issues they encountered, and measures taken
    Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area
    Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
    Performing other related duties as assigned
