Nipawin Dental Centre is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a responsible team player with good communication skills. The ideal candidate will perform clinical and digital charting duties to ensure the dental office runs efficiently and smoothly. Will work under the instruction of the dentists and follow patient management processes and protocols provided in the clinic, while upholding the highest standard of patient care and service. Experience is an asset, but all applications are welcome, we will provide training and mentoring. Daily Responsibilities:
Chairside assisting and knowledge of instrumentation
Taking impressions, polishing, placement and removal dams, application of topical materials, pit and fissure sealants and other clinical duties
Maintaining strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behavior
Cleaning and preparing treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient
Strong understanding of practice health and safety requirements
Sterilization in accordance with the CDSS regulations
Requirements:
Certified Dental Assistant
Previous experience considered an asset
