The Wascana Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (WRGC) is looking to hire an experienced Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach who will focus on the development of the Recreational stream and Interclub athletes.
WRGC is the largest RG club in Saskatchewan and based in Regina with a large component of the clubs membership in rural communities surrounding the city of Regina.
Our requirements include:
NCCP Level 2 certification or higher, or the ability to get Canadian equivalency for certification from outside the country.
Minimum 2 years experience in the development of programming and the coaching of recreational and interclub athletes
Plan and implement training programs for the club.
Specific skills required include technical coaching of gymnasts for provincial competitions, physical preparation, choreography and script preparation.
Choreograph athletes routines including music selection
Attend competitions and galas with assigned athletes.
Communicate with athletes parents as required or appropriate.
Excellent coaching, interpersonal and communication skills
Confident and positive with gymnasts of all ability levels
Administrative skills such as email, Word and general administrative use of computers
The ability to communicate in English both orally and written is a requirement. Fluency in other languages would be considered an asset but not a requirement
Driver license and ability to travel to our satellite programs within 70-100 km from Regina
Terms of employment: Permanent salaried position, with approximately 30 hours per week in the evenings and weekends.
The majority of the work will be located in Regina, Saskatchewan and our satellite programs in Dysart and Indian Head, Saskatchewan with the potential to travel to gymnastic competitions and galas within the province.
