Title:        Assessment Coordinator  TERM POSITION

Location:     T4EA Head Office: Treaty 4 Governance Centre, Fort QuAppelle, Saskatchewan

Other:        Travel is required to T4EA
affiliated First Nations schools.
All employees are required to submit a current Drivers Abstract and Criminal Record Check with Vulnerability Screen

OVERVIEW:

The Assessment Coordinator is the primary coordinator of student assessments. The Coordinator collaborates with a professional team to lead the effective implementation of assessments, ethical and secure collection and storage of data, and analysis and reporting of data results to schools and the First Nations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Assessment Coordinator will have:
    A Master of Education is preferred, but an equivalent range of education/experience will be considered.
    A valid Professional A Saskatchewan teachers certificate with 3-5 years classroom teaching experience.
    A skillset to research, collect, verify and organize quantitative and qualitative data.
    A skillset to create dynamic and compelling reports for diverse audiences.
    Knowledge of Federal and Provincial data storage and sharing principles (OCAP) and protocols.
    Knowledge of First Nations education, federal education systems and treaty and inherent rights to education, with preference given to those with demonstrated experience.
    Passionate and committed to working with First Nations children, youth and families, using a strength/asset-based approach that aligns to the goal, vision and mandate of the Treaty 4 Education Alliance.
    Above average technology skills, with demonstrated skills in using a variety of devices and applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    A valid Saskatchewan drivers license and a reliable vehicle is a requirement.
