Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Human Resources Manager to join our team at our Administration Office located in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

What youll do:
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, you will:
Provide direction and coaching across the organization on human resources issues to ensure consistency of approach, adherence to applicable legislation and collective agreements and alignment with the strategic direction of the business.
Contribute to the development and implementation of various corporate performance management and talent management initiatives, labour relations practices and organizational HR strategies including growth and development for all Team Members.
Lead your HR Team by providing mentoring, guidance and opportunities to grow and develop

Who you are:
Undergraduate degree in Human Resources
A minimum of 5 years of progressive human resources experience in a unionized environment
Proven leadership experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop effective business partner relationships with all stakeholders
Current working knowledge of employment and labour law, human rights legislation, recruitment and on-boarding practices, adult-learning theory and related areas
You are honest and trustworthy and strive to be the best in what you do
A CPHR designation is an asset
