Description

Quickthree Technology LLC, (div of Smart Sand, Inc.), is expanding our Saskatoon Manufacturing team and have immediate openings for:
CAD/CAM Engineering Technologist or Mechanical Engineering Technologist
This position provides technical support and services to those involved in the production process
Primary Responsibilities:
    Under general supervision develop and maintain current sets of production drawings
    Work with Production staff and Engineering cooperatively to optimize drawings sets
    BOM administration and maintenance
    Full 3D CAD process: conceptual design, prototyping, production optimizations, shop drawings, vendor drawing sets, revision maintenance, etc.
    Work with Supply Chain to Spec components and materials
    Assist Production shop through maintenance of work order system
    Develop image rendering and documents for sales and website support
    ERP/purchasing system data input and BOM maintenance
    Design of decal packages
    Technical writing: reports, operators manuals, etc.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
    Graduate from a CAD/CAM Engineering Technology or a Mechanical Engineering Technology program
    4 - 6 years of related experience
    Capacity to work independently or as part of a team
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Experience and aptitude with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Autodesk Vault and Microsoft Office
    Technical writing skills an asset
    Looking for relevant experience in manufacturing or fabrication shop:
o    Machine design
o    Hydraulics
o    pneumatic conveyance
o    conveyor and bulk product handling
o    jigs and fixtures
o    CNC machining programming
