Description:
We are looking for an experienced software developer looking to join an exciting startup! The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. This person will be crucial to the development and creation of our new software product. Our perfect candidate excels at working with large-scale applications, has outstanding communication and leadership skills, and is passionate about solving customer problems.
Responsibilities:
Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure the project meets business objectives and compliance standards
Support test and deployment of new products and features
Participate in code reviews
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related post-secondary education)
3+ years of relevant work experience
Extensive knowledge of Java Spring framework
Expertise in Object-Oriented Design, Database Design, REST APIs, JSON
Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Experience with version control systems such as SVN, Git or TFS
Some experience with client-side JavaScript frameworks such as VueJS is an asset
