Description

We are seeking an experienced Design Strategist to join the Vendasta Marketplace team! To thrive in this role, youll have 8+ years of design experience with a strong understanding of problem framing, design research, workshop facilitation, experience mapping, concept creation, and design testing.

Responsibilities
Translate insights into design opportunities within tight constraints
Navigate ambiguous and complex problems to create clear design strategies
Guide the design process from framing of a challenge to research and insights to concept creation
Create design thinking frameworks, methods, processes and toolkits
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discover the right problems and design the right solutions
Capture thoughts, observations and insights and express them through a compelling story and point of view
Rapid switching from macro to micro; from business strategy to pixels and back
Craft clear experience outcomes, measurement tactics and present the value of design to achieve business outcomes

Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of professional design experience and practice
Demonstrated real-world human problem-solving portfolio
Excellent storytelling, rapport building, and feedback communication
Experience at designing lean prototypes and stimuli
Excellent ability to create, sell and execute design strategy
