Dasro is looking for Application Development & Support role in Regina, Saskatchewan

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
    Perform any action necessary to resolve production application and data problems such as, fixes, vendor supplied patches and upgrades and other activities deemed necessary to keep production systems available, operational and stable




Desired Qualifications:
    Computer Engineering / Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
    MCSD certification
Senior developer experience which includes:
1.    Experience developing and supporting various development environments
2.    Experience in Visual Basic
3.    Experience developing or maintaining a .NET class library
4.    Experience producing secure, good quality code
5.    Broad understanding and experience with Microsoft Windows and other Microsoft technologies
6.    Knowledge of SQL store procedures (transact SQL)
7.    Knowledge of entity frameworks
8.    Knowledge using Oracle and MS SQL databases and SQL coding.
9.    Demonstrated record of continuous improvement
10.    Significant analytical experience, demonstrating problem solving ability
11.    Significant technical consulting experience utilizing desktop tools
12.    Proven testing skills and techniques, documentation, communication skills

14.    Able to function within a high level of activity (working with deadlines on several concurrent initiatives)
