Moose Jaw Families for Change is a non-profit organization that strives to enhance the emotional, physical, and spiritual lives of individuals with varying abilities through residential, vocational, recreational, and community services.
We are seeking positive members to be part of a team role in our residential group home, to support and assist our participants.
The candidate should have professional or personal experience providing and/or assisting with personal care and support with adults who have complex needs. The candidate should also be capable of developing life skills programs and community inclusion activities.
This position's motivation is to support people through their life's journey, while helping them to explore their own unique gifts. These people that we serve will provide the same support to your own life's journey, both directly and indirectly.
Current CPR/First Aid, Satisfactory criminal check and Safe Food Handling course, are a pre-employment requirement. Crisis intervention training such as Mandt, PART or NVCI are an asset.
This is a SHIFT MODEL position (consisting of days, evenings, nights, and weekend) and commences with on the job training.
NIGHT shifts will be a requirement.
