Description

Team Power Solutions is a rapidly growing engineering, technical services and manufacturing company which provides electrical and instrumentation project expertise for major governmental, commercial and industrial clients.
Team Power Solutions is currently seeking an Electrical Assembler-Labourer as a pivotal member of the manufacturing team. The successful candidate will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor and will be expected to contribute a high level of leadership, experience, energy & uncompromising attention to Quality & Innovation within all aspects of their work.
This is an entry level position
The Electrical Assembler-Labourer is responsible for:
    Install electrical control wiring, power cabling
    Hands on experience with mechanical hand tools such as drills, zip saws, angle grinders
etc.
    Install a wide range of electrical components into housings, such as CDPs, breakers,
distribution panels, transformers
    Position and install distribution and electrical control equipment such as switches, relays,
circuit breakers and fuses
    Perform pointtopoint wiring    
Our Ideal Candidate will have:

    Aptitude for learning how to work from wire lists, assembly drawings, schematics,
engineering orders and engineering change request
    Install, replace, maintain and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment
    Splice, join and connect wire to form circuits
    The ability to distinguish colors to work with color-coded wiring
    Demonstrated organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
    Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills
    Keep a clean and safe working area
    Maintain confidentiality of company and personal information
    Ability to perform work assignments with minimal supervision and within a budgeted time
frame
    Demonstrates sound work ethics and attention to detail and accuracy

No experience required, but would be an asset.
