Description

Loraas Recycle is seeking a full time Team Lead for its Recycle facility located in North Battleford. The Team Lead would be responsible for three employees and hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Duties:
- Providing a team attitude by leading through example and utilizing constructive feedback and positive reinforcement.
- Quality control of outgoing material, including contamination rates and bale consistency.
- Completion and submission of essential paperwork for Recycle staff, including FLRAs, inspections, load records, and contamination reports.
- Ensuring consistent application of policy and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for Recycle employees.
- Compliance with all company and provincially legislated procedures, practices, and maintenance programs.
- Operation of PME including forklifts and skid-steers, training will be provided.
- Assisting with work-planning coordination among multiple departments.
- Train and lead fellow staff members by example and assist with operation workload day to day.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership experience, formal or informal, is a strong asset
- Knowledge or work-flow planning and workplace safety
- Attention to detail
- Positive, team-focused attitude
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Motivated and productive
- Mechanical aptitude/maintenance experience an asset
- Class 5 licence required
- Forklift experience an asset
- Must be physically fit; lifting up to fifty pounds, stand for extended periods of time, and performing manual labour including use of hand tools
- As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two week period of their hiring date. A criminal record check and current drivers abstract will also be required.
