Front Desk Clerk

Thorpe Industries Ltd. is hiring!  We are an established company that was formed in the fall of 2015 in Prince Albert, SK.  As a fast-growing company, we require a Front Desk Clerk to be part of our team.  This is an entry level position.

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Front Desk Clerk will be the first point of contact for the Company. This position will handle the flow of visitors to the building, ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are delivered in an accurate and timely manner, and create a positive first impression of the Company.

Responsibilities:
Greets visitors, clients and guests in a professional and pleasant manner and direct the to the appropriate services, staff.

Using computerized systems, send invoices, receive payments, issue receipts, hotel bookings.

Purchasing of general office supplies, water deliveries, etc.

Answer, screen, and forward incoming telephone calls, providing basic information as required.

Manage digital and hard copy filing systems for where needed.

Perform day-to-day duties such as receive, sort, and prepare mail/deliveries/courier on a daily basis, ensure printers are full and in proper working order.

Technology troubleshooting/Assist IT.

Manage phone system.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact with clients in a calm supportive manner is essential.

Perform other related duties as required/assigned from time to time.

Ability to handle moderate heavy lifting.

Employment Requirements:
Computer proficiency and knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office.
Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner; Friendly, comfortable meeting and speaking with people.
Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize.
Ability to work under pressure.
