Established in 1991, Saskarc Industries is an industry-leading custom metal fabricator, project management and equipment sales/rental company. We serve the oil and gas, power generation, mining, construction, government and petrochemical industries across North America.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Standard reception duties, such as answering and directing phone calls to internal employees, greet and direct walk in customers, and mail pick up and distribution
- Maintain coverall stock for all production staff and coordinate with provider
- Purchasing and maintaining office supplies and inventory
- Assist employees with travel bookings
Human Resources Assistant duties include:
- On-boarding of all new employees within the company and coordinating with other necessary departments involved
- Virtual maintenance of the Human Resources files
- Drafting Letters of offer
- Creation and administration of payroll documentation and Health benefit enrollments
- Coordinate and schedule performance reviews for all employees
- Coordinate and schedule employee training in consultation with Managers
- Vacation reconciliation thru Payworks Systems report.
- Support the Human Resources Manager with managing and maintaining all site safety websites
- Update and Maintain various Safety programs
- Creates Forms for compensation change, promotion, etc. as needed.
- Assistance to the Human Resources Manager as required
Training and Qualifications
- Office Administration experience an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- Safety Training and Experience required
