Facility: NIPAWIN HOSPITAL
Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Acute Care NorthEast, the Facility Administrator is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the day to day operational activities of acute patient care/services/programs for the Nipawin Hospital. The Facility Administrator ensures the health care services provided meet the vision, mission and values of Saskatchewan Health Authority and that these services remain within the allocated financial resources. The Facility Administrator ensures quality care/services/programs through the implementation of policies and standards that meet with best practice. The Facility Administrator participates in a team concept of management, accepting responsibilities associated with ensuring the coordination of acute care health services in Nipawin Hospital. The Facility Administrator is accountable for ensuring the safety for patients, staff and visitors. The Facility Administrator collaborates with all department Managers establishing a communication network to encourage problem solving strategies and an open line of communication between all departments.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Bachelor's Degree or suitable combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent management, leadership, organizational and decision making skills
Experience in Health Care Management, able to become an integral part of the Health Region Management Team, assuming responsibility for nursing care and overall operation of a Facility
Current knowledge of regulatory bodies and Nursing Scope of Practice
Knowledge of labour legislation, union contracts, principles of compensati
