Duties:
Responsible for territory development, management and retention
Ensure customer accounts remain in good standing, adjusting service needs as required, and providing superior customer service
Develop an inclusive list of competitor accounts via prospecting, scouting and cold-calling
Territory growth and expansion with research and follow-up on leads
Foster strong business relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction to the Loraas Standard at all times
Create positive and professional relationships within sales team and fellow departments
Monitor and report on market information and pricing to provide suggestions for strategic improvements
Travel within sales territory will be required; a company vehicle will be provided
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of successful direct sales experience in progressively responsible positions; with track record of achieving and surpassing targets
Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate sales contracts
Must be self-motivated with a positive and outgoing personality
Proficient computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Minimum valid Class 5 drivers license with acceptable abstract required
As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test prior to their first day of employment. A criminal record check will also be required.
