d3h Hotels owns and operates thirteen hotels located in Alberta and Saskatchewan with plans to expand our network in the next few years, which will allow our employees the opportunity to grow with the company. We are seeking an Accounting Administrator in our Saskatoon Head Office. The incumbent will consistently demonstrate a high level of drive and commitment. You must be an excellent communicator, who has a positive and confident attitude, while sharing in the attainment of common team goals.
The Position:
As a Full Time (40 hours/week) key member of the Accounting team, your primary responsibilities will include:
Full Cycle Accounting culminating in timely completion of month-end process for multiple hotels
Intercompany reconciliation and invoicing
Assisting Hotel GM with Accounts Receivable collection
Financial reporting, reconciliation and analysis
Participation in fiscal year-end and external audits
Research and application of Provincial/Federal tax legislation ensuring compliance
Administrative duties as required
Qualifications:
Post-secondary accounting diploma/degree from Saskatchewan Polytechnic or other recognized Institution
Minimum 1 year of full cycle accounting experience
Proven communication skills with the ability to convey information to a varied user base
Organizational skills with the ability to achieve goals and prioritize key responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines
Solid working knowledge of GAAP and relevant tax regulations
Attention to detail ensuring consistent quality results
SAGE 300 or equivalent ERP experience required
Willingness to learn
