The Community Relations Liaison will be expected
-Support the Registrar in the development of relation building to improve the access to information for the registry process,
-Establish relationship with stakeholders, government departments and community agencies that facilitate the ongoing exchange of information and collaboration to support Registry processes,
-Identify opportunities for new partnership development,
-Communicate effectively with senior Registry staff regarding ongoing initiatives, upcoming events, and other relevant information
Duties will include:
-Participating in forums, meetings, information sessions, etc.,
-Promote and track Registry mobile intake sessions happening across the province,
-Conducting research and needs analysis of initiatives and provide recommendations,
-Receive, process and prioritize inquiries (phone, mail, email) to ensure appropriate and timely responses and resolutions
-Prepare communication materials to promote the ongoing activities of the Registry
Applicants must have a clean and clear criminal record report, be legal to work in Canada (SIN), have knowledge and appreciation for the Metis People, Culture and History, be able to travel and effectively interact with a diverse audience,
