SUMMARY:
Helping Hands Personal Care Home Ltd. is hiring 2 Housekeeping Supervisor that will serve as team supervisors to our staff who are working in our personal care homes as well as in our Bridging Clients Homes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and review all resident/client and Care Aides concerns.
Receive and review all resident/client and Care Aides concerns.
Helps assign housekeeping staff to home-making situations consistent with their skill level.
Promotes cooperative effort among Homemaking/Housekeeping staff members.
Participates in professional development programs annually.
Maintains a continuing knowledge of competencies related to the Housekeeper/Homemaker
manager by participation in conferences, workshops and professional organizations.
Manages urgent and emergent situations within existing policies and procedures and
demonstrates even temperament in stressful environments.
EDUCATION:
Must be a graduate of a reputable caregiver program and must be certified in Basic First Aid.
Preference will be given to underrepresented groups, individuals who have completed a housekeeping, homemaking or caregiving course, or some combination of these.
