Key Functions and Responsibilities:
-With the support of National Office (YMCA of GTA), to implement the YMCA Community Action Network(YCAN)Program in Saskatoon and ongoing support in program delivery and development with other partner YMCA associations.
-Provide leadership and support to the Youth Leadership Advisors toward the execution of the Youth Leadership Programs.
-Work with Program Manager, along with program department, to develop and expand programs offered internally within the YMCA of Saskatoon.
-Ability to interact face-to-face with youth participants in a positive and professional manner.
-Work with participant and community members to assist both in collaborating for mutual benefit to realize and develop a community service initiative.
-Build trusting relationships with local partners through positive, consistent communication, ensuring successful attendance and outcomes for all participants
-Demonstrate excellent administrative skills, ensuring all training, files, participant paperwork and program forms are completed in a timely manner and consistently kept up to date.
-Oversee the planning and development of the program in accordance with YMCA standards and YMCA Child Protection policies.
-Train participants and volunteers in all procedures and practices.
-Ensure consistent and clear communication with YMCA colleagues locally and nationally to build upon program quality, growth and impact.
-Engage new participants through the building of strong networks locally; initiating and attending meetings, planning sessions, training and events.
-Identify and develop ways to expand opportunities and initiatives for young people relevant to their needs and interests.
-Understands the legal responsibilities and moral imperative to report suspected child abuse to Child Protection Services.
Other duties as assigned.

-Available to work flexible full-time hours and travel when required.
