Description

Source Office Furnishings is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of Warehouse Supervisor at our Saskatoon location. This is a full-time position.
The Warehouse Supervisor supports and advises warehouse staff during their daily duties. They assist the Store Manager in solving and addressing job-related problems and ensures that all duties are performed effectively and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:
    Unload shipments delivered to the warehouse and put it away in proper location
    Assist with loading onto delivery trucks; ensure the accuracy of the picked products and that they are properly secured to avoid damage during shipment
    Prepare pallets for outbound shipments, including the wrapping of products
    Work with Store Manager on deliveries and receiving and ensure the accurate shipment of the ordered items
    Assist with the pickup of merchandise by customers at the loading dock and safely place purchased items into the customer vehicle once the paperwork has been reviewed and completed
    Ensure warehouse is properly locked and secured at the end of each day
    Train new reach operator hires
    Organize warehouse stock to maintain efficiency and tidiness as well as comply with Health & Safety obligations
    Work closely with Store Manager on staffing needs
    Conduct physical count of inventory and report back to the Store Manager and office staff
    Manage day to day operations of warehouse and delivery staff in the absence of management
    Solid communication skills
    Able to perform under pressure with tight deadlines and high volumes
    Able to Assemble product when required
    Full time Position Monday-Friday 8-5 Saturday shift work during winter months
Qualifications:
    High school diploma a must at minimum
    Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience managing warehouse staff, including training and development
    Must be able to consistently lift 75+ lbs
    Certified to operate a Raymond Reach and order picker (forklift)
