Your Purpose
The purpose of a Meridian Project Manager is to sweat the details while fostering creativity and innovation in the planning and execution of unique construction projects.
What You'll be Doing
You will have an integral role in the careful planning and flawless execution of projects, while supporting ongoing innovation and improvement. You will create and manage project schedules and budgets, bring creative ideas and strong technical skills to the design process, leverage your experience to solve problems and ensure work is completed to the highest standards of quality.You'll learn the bidding process and utilize your negotiating skills to create a positive financial impact on projects. You will foster a culture of safety and ensure it is instilled into all Meridian projects.
What You'll Need
Proven experience managing large scale projects
Ability to maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
Strong knowledge of the construction industry
Ability to interpret blueprints
Thorough understanding of building code requirements
Hands-on experience in the construction industry is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software
Bachelor of Engineering degree or Technical Diploma is an asset
3-5 years experience working in a project management capacity for a general contractor
Experience in Multi-family residential and commercial construction would be an asset
