Description

Viterra is seeking a Project Manager for its Automation and Electrical Services Group, located at our Head Office in Regina, SK. Working within a highly effective team of Engineers and Technologists, the incumbent will be responsible for the successful completion on a wide scope of projects focused within our high throughput facilities, Canola Crush Plants and Eastern Port Terminals. The successful candidate will be responsible for project management on the implementation of entire control systems, renovations of existing systems, and minor system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
Successfully execute electrical and automation projects from initial concept to project closure, while effectively communicating along the way with all stakeholders and project team members.

Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of Project Management principles and practices.
Ability to influence with strong negotiation skills regarding budget and other project items.

Education and Qualifications:
Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in an industrial environment, four (4) years managing projects, and three (3) years in HMI, PLC system design and/or software development would be considered an asset.
Electrical Engineering Technologist, Electrical or Electronic Systems Engineering or journeyed status in the electrical trade.
PMP designation or working towards designation.
