SOFIA House currently has a full-time Women's Program Coordinator position available for a knowledgeable, independent team player who is interested in working with women and their families in a second stage setting who have experienced interpersonal violence. Women's programming consists of both individual and group counselling for women in-house. In-house counselling is individualized depending on case plans, but common themes include education around interpersonal violence, boundaries, assertiveness, self-esteem, healthy relationships, anxiety and mental health. This position also provided advocacy and support with legal, medical, and financial matters.
