Express Employment Professionals, Saskatoon' top rated Staffing & Recruitment agency, is searching for Fire Alarm & Suppression Field Technicians, on behalf of their client, a well- respected and large player in this industry.
The position, based in Saskatoon, is expected to become a permanent role for the right candidate.
Our client is looking for a full scope of experience from levels 1 to 4.
The Role:
    Service and Installation activities on electrical fire alarm and suppression systems.
    Manage service issues on-site to ensure fiscal requirements are met.
    Take part in 24hr. on-call service rotation.
    Identify and sell basic product enhancements to customers.
    Troubleshoot systems and perform necessary repairs.
    Effectively service panels all makes and models of fire alarm panels.
    Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics and operational/product manuals.
    Service fire extinguisher and emergency lights.
    Service of pre-engineered and engineered special hazard fire suppression systems.
    Complete all necessary paperwork as needed and meet deadlines set for paperwork to be turned into the district.
Qualifications:
    Positive attitude, self-motivated, strong organizational and communication skills
    Strong mechanical aptitude, and ability to work with their hands, work safely from a ladder.
    Strong computer proficiency & technology skills, including intermediate expertise using email, Excel, and Smart Phone apps.
    Experience as Service Technician within the Fire Protection or related industry.
    Completion of a Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification is a MUST.
    Be able to obtain and retain required provincial licenses.
    Possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
    High School diploma or equivalent.
