Job Description: 3sHealth's Provincial Payroll and Scheduling Services team provides payroll processing services for the Saskatchewan health system comprising of more than 46,000 health sector employees. We're seeking a Payroll & HRIS Officer to deliver timely and accurate full-cycle payroll services for 3sHealth and a designated client group (650+ employees), which includes:

verifying and processing employee electronic timesheets;

compiling and processing weekly payroll in accordance with legislative requirements, collective agreements and company policies and procedures;

maintaining the integrity of employee data entered into the HRIS/payroll system, and processing staffing changes, such as new hires, terminations, employee status changes, salary changes;

checking and resolving errors from payroll run;

preparing, sorting and filing a variety of reports including remittances, monthly reports;

year-end processing including T4 preparation;

preparing ad hoc and standard payroll reports such as time-usage, accruals and payroll audit reports;

responding to employees' payroll related inquiries;  

partnering with Human Resources and Finance teams to continuously improve processes and to support organizational initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification from the CPA or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
