Synergy Business Solutions has an exceptional opportunity for a full-time, permanent Full Cycle Bookkeeper in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Salary will be commensurate with training and experience.
Profile:
Ability to handle multiple assignments
Ability to self-manage
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Comprehensive understanding of Canadian GAAP
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented
Comprehensive understanding of payroll legislation, employment standards and payroll accounting and working knowledge of employee benefit programs
Quickbooks desktop experience is a must with ability to set up Chart of Account for new clients
Quickbooks online experience or willing to learn
Simply Accounting experience would be an asset but not required
Able to work off site when requested by client
Duties:
Set-up new clients in Quickbooks
Monthly data entry of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Government Remittances
Building client profiles within Quickbooks
Bank reconciliation
Prepare Payroll
Enter Payroll if client uses an internet based payroll system
Ensure Clients that are on hourly contract are kept up to date in billing spreadsheet
