The following position is hereby posted in accordance with Article 9 of the Collective Agreement between Saskatchewan Government Employees Union and Rainbow Youth Centre.
Description: Working under the direct supervision of the Program Supervisor, the Youth C.A.R.E Worker will deliver front line services within a supportive learning environment for youth aged 11-19 years, and will plan prevention based programs that respond to the needs of adolescents.
Job Duties
Working as part of a team, the Youth C.A.R.E
Worker will have responsibility for:
Program Planning, Facilitation, and Record Keeping
Supervision of youth ages 11-19
Case Management
Qualifications:
Minimum two years combined experiences (work/volunteer) pertaining to direct service/front line work with adolescents along with formal education/training applicable to the career field of human services.
Ability to lead groups of youth in a variety of recreational and educational activities.
Awareness of social issues that impact the growth and development of adolescents.
Demonstrated communication skills with ability to establish rapport, problem solve, and confront behavior.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting.
Valid non-probationary Saskatchewan Driver license.
