Dot Technology Crop., with offices in Emerald Park and Edmonton, is focused on advancing the science of autonomous agriculture. Our vision is to lead the agriculture industry by producing innovative, reliable and precise autonomous solutions that bolster farm success and sustainability.
Dot is currently in the commercialization phase and in order to grow and support this effort, we are looking for qualified individuals to join our sales team as Strategic Account Managers reporting to the Director of Sales and Retail Development. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with innovative farm clients to drive the sale of Dot and Dot Ready implements.
To be successful in this position you will need to be a boots-on-the-ground individual whos not afraid of going out and knocking on doors. You will work in conjunction with the sales team to meet and exceed agreed upon goals, as well as prepare account strategies and be responsible for ongoing support of Dot units within your geographical region.
A passion for farming and a desire to move the industry ahead through the use of autonomous farming technology, coupled with your expert communication, presentation and closing skills, will help you to succeed as a Strategic Account Manager. Preference will be given to candidates with post-secondary education and a minimum of five years of solid sales experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within and exceeding aggressive sales goals.
Significant travel will be required and as such you will be given flexibility within your work schedule. Our ideal candidate would be located within the Regina area, but relocation assistance may be available for well qualified applicants.
