Must have previous customer service, sales, or community relations experience along with a valid driver's license and access to your own transportation. Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check is also required. Familiarity with the Office of Residential Tenancies & Residential Tenancies Act is considered an asset.
Duties:
Have a positive and professional manner at all times.
Managing and maintaining positive relationships with tenants, owners, colleagues and the public.
Providing prompt, knowledgeable and courteous service to prospective and current residents.
Maintaining knowledge including availability of suite types and layouts, as well as the buildings and the surrounding area.
Screening/qualifying prospective tenants.
Showing available suites.
Review all documents.
Work cooperatively with vendors and contractors, with tenant coordination.
Contribute to department annual budgets, expenses, corrective measures, and prepare reports by collecting,
analyzing, and summarizing data.
Completing detailed move in/out inspections and reports.
Proactively initiating rent renewals by booking appointments with residents prior to leases expiring.
Maintain a presence in all buildings.
Complete pre-move out inspections to see if property requires any work to be completed.
Inspect all vacant suites on a weekly basis.
Maintain a log and Deficiency Report for all vacant and rent ready suites.
Communicate Vacant Suite Log and Deficiency Report to the Office Manager on a weekly basis.
Initiating and executing evictions when required following the Property Management Companies policies.
Responding to Resident & Owner inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and providing a remedy where possible;
escalating complaints as needed.
