The Residential Mortgage Underwriting Director supports the underwriting of Residential Mortgages and is responsible for directing, leading and motivating the Underwriting Team.  This role will participate in setting the operational business plan and direction to establish and ensure adherence to credit operations processing controls, credit risk policy and financing guidelines. This position is accountable for ensuring that the processes effectively comply with the Banks Residential Mortgage Underwriting Policies (RMUP) and that mortgages are within approved underwriting limits and comply with OSFI Guideline B-20 Residential Mortgage Underwriting Practices and Procedures.  The Residential Mortgage Underwriting Director is also accountable for managing operational risks, and delivering best in class customer experience.

This position will work closely with the Mobile Mortgage team, Risk Management Group (e.g. Credit Risk, Risk Analytics, Credit Risk Review, Operational Risk and Compliance), Accounting, IT, and Legal teams.
