EMSCO (Equipment Maintenance & Supply Co.) is seeking a dedicated and energetic parts counter technician to join our Saskatoon, SK team.  Serving both our internal service department and external customers, this is a great opportunity to grow and continually enhance the performance of our parts department in our new Saskatoon branch.

Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing, procuring and ordering parts from a wide variety of suppliers.
2. Assisting technicians with quotes and advising on parts needs and available options.
3. Following up on back orders and credits.
4. Ordering shop and building maintenance supplies.
5. Shipping and receiving.
6. Picking parts orders.
7. Maintaining inventory accuracy.
8. Organizing shelves and keeping work area tidy.


Requirements:
1. Excellent communication skills, a track-record of continuous learning, and a deep commitment to customer service.
2. Must be organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
3. High attention to detail.
4. Ability to work well in both a team environment, and unsupervised.
5. Punctual, with a strong attendance record.
6. Familiar with corporate ERP systems such as CDK/PFW/DBS/JDIS is an asset, but not required for the ideal candidate.
7. Job can be physically demanding and involves working both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
8. Forklift and skid steer certification are desirable, but we will train the right candidate.
