Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority is seeking a permanent full-time Procurement Specialist. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the overall supervision of SLGAs procurement processes and policy (excluding beverage alcohol). The Procurement Specialist liaises with other agencies, staff and suppliers to manage centralized purchasing and purchasing control for stores, branches and its warehouse operation. This position oversees and issues Request for Proposals, Request for Quotes, Request for Information and advises staff about related processes.
The Procurement Specialist is also responsible for SLGAs centralized contract repository, Financial Service Branch contracts, SLGAs Records Management policy and procedures, SLGAs insurance program, corporate telephone and asset disposal. This position is responsible for the functional supervision of one employee.
