Description

The Senior Coordinator an in-scope position reports to the Post-Secondary Program Manager.

The Senior Program Coordinator has a diversity of duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following; initiate and implement programs consistent with the College program plan and in response to community, business, and industry needs; monitor program delivery; supervise instructional staff; provide programming information to students, training partners, and the general public; assist in developing/modifying policies & procedures; develop program curriculum, course content, and/or training manuals as assigned;knowledge of modern managerial practices, office procedures, and business communication; supervisory skills in managing and evaluating people, handling problems,and conflict resolution; proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions while maintaining good judgement in keeping supervisor, coworkers, partners, and knowledge of modern learning theories, teaching strategies, and curriculum development; understanding of northern Saskatchewan and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment; must be prepared to schedule hours of work according to the demands of the position including evenings and weekends when necessary (i.e. field hours); and must possess a valid drivers license and be willing to travel to remote communities including overnight stays, air travel, and travel on gravel roads in all weather conditions.
