Job Description/Position Summary:
We are seeking someone with strong administrative and organizational skills coupled with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude to fill a full-time permanent role of Insolvency Administrator/Insolvency Counsellor on our team. This position will allow the opportunity for you to assist our clients in rebuilding their financial well-being. You will also have your own office.
Dont have experience in insolvency? We provide comprehensive education and training in order to prepare you for this role. All you need to bring is your skills and positive attitude, and well help you with the rest.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive file reviews
- Drafting and filing discharge reports with the government, creditors, and Court
- Corresponding with clients verbally and in
writing
- Conducting financial counselling sessions
(once education and training complete)
- Responding to client inquiries
- Other administrative duties
Requirements:
- Excellent organization skills and
multitasking ability with attention to
detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication
skills
- Capacity to take responsibility for position
and duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with two
years of post-secondary education (preferred)
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel,
Outlook, etc.
- Knowledge/experience in accounting or law is
an asset
- Experience in dealing with clients/customers
in an office environment
- Ability to learn new concepts and software
quickly
- Excellent command of the English language
- Experience/ability to work in a fast-past
office environment
- Ability to think critically and exercise
sound judgment
