FULL TIME Operations Supervisor

Skyways Trucking presently has an opening for a Operations Supervisor with a professional attitude to join our team. This is a full-time job.

We OFFER:
    One Day Sick Leave Earned / Month
    Accumulated Paid Vacation For 15 Days / Year
    On the job tutorial/training
    $30/Hr.
Individual Qualifications
-Diploma or Post-Secondary Education
-Minimum experience of 1Yr.
-Basic experience in computer use & Microsoft programs
-Fluent in English (Urdu & Punjabi is an asset but not required)
- Any experience with the trucking industry would be asset but not required

Duties and Responsibilities

    Prepare, communicate, and co-ordinate work schedules and other operational activities among employees of different departments  
    Assign, communicate, and review work of office assistants related to the following activities: word processing, data entry, incoming and outgoing mail including promotional flyers, and other administrative tasks
    Resolve work related matters among employees and submit progress reports of employees to management on a monthly basis
    Ensure smooth operation of office equipment and power tools, and arrange for repair or order new equipment if required
    Oversee business operations related to dispatch, diesel repair, and driver training
    Brief/Train employees in office and on field in the respective in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
