We're looking for an Internal Auditor to help maintain effective controls so Affinity can achieve its organizational objectives.

The role
- Provide risk-based consulting to all areas of Affinity
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures
- Implement and maintain all stages of internal audit projects
- Recommend solutions to risk-related issues across the organization

Skills needed to be successful in this role
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field plus five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Specialized knowledge of internal controls and the audit process, including developing audit programs
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification or designation/certification in related field
- Intermediate understanding of Affinity Credit Union's business and divisional business operations
- Ability to identify risks and recommend process improvements
- Ability to conduct and use research to create, implement, and revise innovative processes
