Sunrise Foods International Inc. Sunrise is seeking a bright, energetic, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist for its Saskatoon, SK head office.
The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for:
o Accounts Payable transactions
o Preparing daily bank reconciliations
o Preparing cheque runs
o Reconciling credit card statements
o Reconciling expense reports
o Receipting payments received
o Performing routine accounting activities
o Data entry
o General reception duties including customer service/answering phones/couriers/mail/faxing/scanning/etc.
o Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
o Detail-oriented and comfortable with competing priorities
o Enjoys work that can be sometimes repetitive
o Minimum 3 years previous accounting experience
o Looks for opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy by standardizing procedures
o Exceptionally well organized
o Broad understanding of standard accounting principles
o Excellent time management skills
o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
o Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX Software considered an asset
Annual Salary: Sunrise provides a competitive salary and benefits package based on training and experience
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
