Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, HRBP's, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides Human Resource services as a strategic partner with the Business Unit to deliver, design and implement human resource services and strategies to improve service, achieve goals, and resolve issues.
As part of the consulting process, the HRBP provides knowledge and expertise on all aspects of the employment relationship including recruitment and retention, work design, job development and salary administration, onboarding, benefits administration, team development, labour relations and performance management, employee engagement, and change and transition. The HRBP also provides interpretation and advice related to collective agreements, non-contract terms and conditions, legal statutes and organizational policy and collaborates with the Business Unit to negotiate resolution to labour relations issues that may include performance management, fraud, professional practice (including Nursing Advisory Committee (NA) and Independent Assessment Committee (IAC) issues, privacy and attendance management.
This role ensures that there is an innovative and positive working climate and a client centric culture in the Business Unit while supporting the process of continuous improvement.
The HRBP will also be responsible for building meaningful relationships with Managers, Directors and Vice-Presidents within their respective Business Units while maintaining close links with the Specialists within the Centralized Human Resources Department.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Behavioural Sciences, Education, or related area.
