Description

The Regina Humane Society is seeking a Manager of Gift Planning and Stewardship to join its development team. The position is permanent, full-time and offers a competitive salary, benefits and vacation package, and flex time.

Responsibilities

The Manager of Gift Planning and Stewardship is responsible for developing and implementing short and long term initiatives to identify, cultivate and solicit gift prospects to ensure a strong base of ongoing financial support for the Regina Humane Society and its new Animal Community Centre capital project through a formal gift planning program. The Manager cultivates prospects and donors for the purpose of negotiating and closing gifts through carefully planned personal contacts and visits. They provide technical support to donors, their advisors and other allied professionals on the structuring, benefits and implications of various planned gift arrangements and execute recognition and stewardship of individual major givers. The Manager works closely with the Director of Development to execute donor and sponsorship recognition and stewardship activities and provides support to other key fundraising initiatives as needed.

The Manager of Gift Planning and Stewardship reports to the Director of Development and serves as a member of the fundraising team. They are accountable for accomplishing department goals, working collaboratively with internal and external RHS stakeholders and supporting the mission, goals and philosophy of the RHS.
