Saskatchewan Liquor & Gaming Authority (SLGA) Human Resources is seeking a self-motivated, customer service-focused and detail-oriented individual to provide business support within the branch from November 18, 2019 until November 27, 2020 (1 year).
This position will report to the Manager of Human Resources and provide administrative support services to the Managers and Human Resources Consultants in the department. As this position will act as the first point of contact for HR related inquiries for employees and external clients the incumbent is required to work core operating hours (8:00-4:45).
Primary responsibilities will include coordinating in-scope vacancies by posting vacancy notices, setting up interviews and testing; maintaining personnel records; coordinating the in-scope appraisal process; inputting and maintaining data into PeopleSoft; preparing updates for the corporate intranet; processing employee forms and updating the mailing lists. This positon also prepares and processes various data reports from PeopleSoft utilizing Excel to format the reports. The incumbent will calculate vacation entitlements, long-service, seniority dates, increment dates and is responsible for processing all leave of absence requests.
The ideal candidate for this position would have experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. In addition this position provides backup for the HR Administrative Assistant.
