Description

Bourgault is looking for an IT Technician to join our team in St. Brieux, SK. In this role, you will provide computer hardware & software maintenance and support to the Bourgault team. Our ideal candidate is customer-focused with strong troubleshooting abilities and technical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Respond to employee requests for hardware or software support (through IT ticket system)
- Provide IT-related training or information to team members when needed
- Make recommendations to the IT Team on planning of future development of information technology resources as it relates to individual hardware and  - Maintain sufficient inventories of computer and peripheral spare parts and consumables.
- Provide IT services in an effective, efficient and cooperative manner to ensure quality access to technology services available on our computer network.
- Identify areas of improvement and research and recommend solutions for both the IT department and company in general.
- Document processes and procedures in the IT Knowledgebase

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a 2 year Computer Technician certificate from a recognized education institute
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant IT experience is desired
- Sound knowledge of computer technology, both hardware and software
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Effective customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities
