Description

The David Aplin Group, has partnered with our client, a non-profit health and travel insurance provider, to recruit for a Product Specialist, based in Regina. The Role:
support the design and management of the organizations products and services in close collaboration with the Product Manager
report on market trends and consumer patterns, working closely with internal stakeholders to effectively market and manage the portfolio of products
manage the product lifecycle to ensure effective implementation while supporting sales and profitability
collaborate with sales and marketing to collect market and customer data to provide expert recommendations and suggestions based on expertise
participate in annual forecasting and budgeting
maintain expert knowledge of the regulatory, compliance and legal requirements for the companys products and product sales
develop and deliver business cases and cost-benefit analysis on market research and proposed product design and enhancements
The Ideal Candidate:
Post-secondary degree in Business Administration and/ or marketing OR equivalent education and experience
Minimum 3 years working in marketing and/ or product management pertaining to benefits (group, travel and health insurance)
Prior experience in the insurance or financial services considered an asset
Experience in project management or implementation of an asset
Strong attention to detail
Analytical and methodical when solving complex problems
Innovative
Superior communication skills
Potential to work remotely for someone with many years of experience and a very successful track record
