Facility: YORKTON REGIONAL HEALTH CENTRE
Job Description: The Utilization Coordinator will be accountable for ensuring safe patient care across the continuum by the best utilization of resources both human and bed availability and in accordance with established policies.  The Utilization Coordinator will work in a team approach with all the Health Services departments and managers in providing enhanced services to clients.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years experience with demonstrated competency in an acute care setting.  
A combination of clinical, management and/or educational experience is preferred.

Note:  This position is open to all SUN members within the bargaining unit as per Article 27.05 of the SUN Collective Bargaining Agreement, however first preference will be given to employees of Sunrise Health Region.
